Your Specialist

Dr. Rajesh Pathi

MBBS, MS, MCh, FMISS — Senior Consultant Neuro & Spine Surgeon

Alongside surgical neurosurgery, Dr. Pathi evaluates a wide range of neurological symptoms — many of which are managed without any procedure at all. His focus is on getting to the right diagnosis first, and treatment second.

What to expect

How a neurological evaluation works

1

Detailed symptom history

When it started, how often it happens, and what makes it better or worse.

2

Hands-on neurological exam

Reflexes, strength, coordination and sensation are checked directly.

3

Further tests, if needed

Scans or investigations are recommended only when they'll genuinely change the plan.

4

A clear explanation & plan

What's likely going on, what to watch for, and the next concrete step.

Common questions

Before you book

Do I need a scan before my neurological consultation?
Not usually. Dr. Pathi will examine you first and recommend a scan only if it's actually needed to reach a diagnosis or guide treatment.
My symptoms come and go — is it still worth getting evaluated?
Yes — intermittent symptoms are still worth evaluating, and a detailed history of when they occur is often just as useful as catching them "live."
Will every headache or numbness turn out to be serious?
No — most neurological symptoms have manageable, non-urgent causes. An evaluation exists to confirm that and rule out anything that isn't, rather than to alarm you.
