Common questions

Before you book

Does every neurological symptom mean I need surgery?
No. Most neurological symptoms are evaluated and managed conservatively first. Surgery is only discussed when it's genuinely the appropriate option for your specific condition.
I already have a scan and a surgical recommendation elsewhere — can I get a second opinion here?
Yes — second opinion consultations are common, especially before major procedures like brain tumor, aneurysm or complex spine surgery.
What should I bring to a neurosurgery consultation?
Any MRI, CT or X-ray films/reports you have, a list of current medications, and notes on when your symptoms started and what affects them.
Is minimally invasive surgery suitable for everyone?
Not always — suitability depends on the specific condition and its severity. Dr. Pathi will explain whether it's an appropriate option for your case during consultation.
