Our services

Comprehensive immunization care

We provide a safe, sterile, and child-friendly environment for all required and optional immunizations.

Routine Immunizations

Following the latest Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) guidelines for essential vaccines from birth through adolescence.

"Painless" Vaccines

Offering acellular pertussis (DTaP) options that typically result in less post-vaccination fever, swelling, and pain for your baby.

Catch-Up Schedules

If you have missed doses due to illness, travel, or pandemic delays, we will create a safe, customized timeline to get your child back on track.

Seasonal Vaccines

Providing annual Influenza (flu) shots to protect against changing seasonal strains, especially vital for children with asthma.

Travel Vaccinations

Specialized vaccines (like Typhoid or Hepatitis A) recommended before international travel or visiting high-risk regions.

Side Effect Management

Clear, precise instructions on how to handle the mild fevers or fussiness that can occur in the 24-48 hours following a shot.

When to visit

Key milestones for immunization

Vaccines are timed carefully to protect children when they are most vulnerable.

Infancy

Birth to 6 Months

The most intensive period, requiring visits at birth, 6 weeks, 10 weeks, 14 weeks, and 6 months to build foundational immunity.

Toddlerhood

9 to 18 Months

Crucial vaccines and boosters, including MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Chickenpox, and the first set of booster doses.

School & Pre-Teens

4 to 12 Years

School-entry boosters (around 4-6 years) and the highly recommended HPV and Tdap vaccines for pre-teens (9-12 years).

What happens

Your child's visit, step by step

1

Record review

We start by carefully reviewing your child's vaccination card to confirm exactly what is due and ensure no doses are missed or duplicated.

2

Pre-vaccination health check

Dr. Sushma performs a brief physical check to ensure your child is healthy enough to receive a vaccine that day.

3

Clear explanation

We explain which vaccines are being given, what diseases they prevent, and whether you prefer the 'painless' or standard variants if applicable.

4

Gentle administration

Using distraction techniques and a gentle hand, the vaccines are administered as quickly and painlessly as possible.

5

Post-vaccine guidance

You’ll leave with weight-based paracetamol dosage instructions in case of fever, and a scheduled date for your next visit.

Before your visit

What to bring

Helping the visit go smoothly

The Vaccination Card

This is absolutely essential. We cannot safely administer vaccines or update their medical history without seeing their original vaccination records.

History of past reactions

If your child had a severe reaction (like a very high fever or a rash) to a previous vaccine, make sure to let Dr. Sushma know before the shot is given.

A comfort item

A favorite toy, blanket, or pacifier can be incredibly helpful for distraction and comfort during and immediately after the injection.

Comfortable clothing

Dress your child in loose-fitting clothes. For infants, onesies that easily expose the thighs are best; for older children, short sleeves are ideal.

Common questions

Questions parents often ask

What is the difference between "painless" and regular vaccines?

The actual injection feels the same. The difference is the formula (specifically for the DTP vaccine). The "painless" (acellular) version typically causes less fever, swelling, and fussiness in the days following the shot, while offering similar protection.

Is it safe for my baby to get multiple shots at once?

Yes. A baby’s immune system is incredibly strong and handles millions of antigens every day just by exploring their environment. Giving multiple vaccines at once is proven safe and protects them earlier.

Is a fever normal after a vaccination?

Yes, a mild to moderate fever (up to 101°F) is a very common and normal sign that the body is building immunity. We will provide instructions on how to keep your child comfortable if this happens.

We missed a scheduled vaccine dose. Do we have to start over?

No, you rarely have to start a vaccine series over. Dr. Sushma will review the missed doses and create a safe "catch-up" schedule to ensure they are fully protected.

Do vaccines cause autism?

No. Extensive, global medical studies involving millions of children have repeatedly proven that there is absolutely no link between vaccines and autism. Vaccines are the safest, most effective way to prevent life-threatening illnesses.
